TO ALL MEMBERS HOPING TO COMPETE AT AREAS OR ATTEND CAMP

Those members who are hoping to compete at the up coming Area competitions OR attend PC Camp MUST have attended 3 working rallies.

To clarify this statement please read the following taken from www.pcuk.org:

A working rally is one at which instruction is given and is open to all Members of the Branch. It may be either a mounted or unmounted rally. An unmounted rally is usually for horse and pony care instruction. Members must have been to a minimum of three working rallies - which must not include team practices or coaching - since the previous July 1st, to be eligible to represent their Branch. Camp counts as one working rally.

If you have any queries about this please speak to Sue Cromar or Simona Gritz.

6 to 10 years

The younger children come into camp daily, although their ponies will be able to stay at Camp. Each “Junior” is allocated a “Senior” to give them help and guidance, and also care for their pony when the Junior goes home.

Camp is divided into rides of similar age & ability depending on numbers. Juniors will have most of their instruction from the same instructor in charge of their ride - but will receive specialist instruction too.
Watch this space and we will put up useful packing lists for rider, pony and mother!!
Any useful tips or stories please e-mail vahponyclub@aol.com for inclusion onto these pages.

Passports
Just a reminder your pony's passport needs to be in order for Camp. It will be checked on  arrival and needs to show a valid start date and up-to-date vaccination record. If you have any queries, please contact Sue Cromar Tel; 01494 837581 Email; cromar@bumblecott.plus.com

Three race horses stood in their stalls. One said to other others: "I ran 20 races and I won 15 of them!" he bragged. The next said with a snort, "Well, I ran 30 races and won 25 of them!" Then the third horse spoke up proudly, "Yeah, I ran 41 races and won 39 of them!" This seemed to settle the topic when the horses noticed a Greyhound outside their stalls. The Greyhound said, "I ran 100 races and I won 99 of them." The horses looked at each other in amazement and one gasped,
"Wow! A talking greyhound!"
